

After graduation, I was offered an opportunity to work for an innovative real estate company based back home in Dallas, Texas. Grateful to be gainfully employed in uncertain pandemic times, I took this job to expand my skillset and broaden my range of business experience. Primarily, I worked as an administrative assistant to Door's CEO and founder Alex Doubet. A well-regarded local entrepreneur, Alex taught me a great deal about being a small business owner and an effective leader. In addition to my assistive duties, I worked on the Onboarding team to help former and current clients sell their homes and with the Marketing team on campaign planning initiatives. I am thankful for my summer spent at Door.com learning from the finest disruptors that the Texas real estate market had ever seen.
